Brother Hermeus Norman (James Ambrose Wray) entered the Novitiate in 1938 in Glencoe, Missouri. He died on December 23, 2014, in Karachi, Pakistan, at the age of 91 and is buried in Karachi.

Br. James William Clarey

Brother Bill Clarey (James William Clarey) was born in Breckenridge, Minnesota in 1939 and entered the Novitiate in 1959 in Glencoe, Missouri. He died on December 18, 2023, at Catholic Eldercare in Minneapolis, MN at the age of 84 and the interment of his cremains took place at Resurrection Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Brother Honoratus of the Cross (Anthony Smolla) was born in Austria and entered the Novitiate in 1868 in New York City (Second Street). He died on February 11, 1903, at the age of 57 and is buried in Glencoe, Missouri, in Calvary Cemetery.

Brother Ildefonsus Paulian (Edmond A. Melancon) was born in Napoleonville, Louisiana, and entered the Novitiate in 1882 in Carondelet, Missouri. He died on February 10, 1923, at the age of 69 in Memphis, Tennessee, and is buried in Memphis in Calvary Cemetery.

Brother Saint Miguel (Francisco Fabres Cordero) was born in Cuenca, Ecuador, and entered the Novitiate in 1868 in Cuenca, Ecuador. He died on February 9, 1910, at the age of 55 in Premia de Mar, Spain, and is buried in Quito, Ecuador.

Brother Botulph (Peter Joseph Schneider) was born in Prussia and entered the Novitiate in 1852 in Montreal, Canada. He died on February 9, 1906, at the age of 73 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and is buried in the Santa Fe in Rosario Cemetery. He was the Visitor of Santa Fe.

Brother Polycarpus of Mary (Anthony Rousseau) was born in Canada and entered the Novitiate in 1849 in Montreal, Canada. He died on February 9, 1890, at the age of 71 in Glencoe, Missouri and is buried in Glencoe in Calvary Cemetery.

Brother Romuald Hosea (Joseph Meyer) was born on October 6, 1872, at Mulhouse, Germany, and entered the Novitiate at Montreal in 1889. He died at age 83 on February 2, 1955, in Montreal and is buried in Montreal Cote-des-Neiges Cemetery.

Brother Lawrence David (Francis Bickett) was born at Calvary, near Lebanon, Kentucky, on October 3, 1882, and entered the Novitiate in Glencoe, Missouri, on December 13, 1905. He died at age 73 in Memphis, Tennessee, on February 1, 1955, and is buried at Calvary Cemetery in Glencoe, Missouri.

Brother Harold Bertram (Thomas Hurley) was born on December 3, 1928, in St. Paul, Minnesota, entered the Novitiate at Glencoe, Missouri, on September 5, 1946. He died at age 20 on February 1, 1948, in St. Louis, Missouri, and is buried in St. Paul in Calvary Cemetery in Minnesota.

Brother Dacian (Oliver Boisvert) was born in St. Charles, Canada, on August 11, 1831, and entered the Novitiate in Montreal in 1855. He died at age 66 on February 1, 1898, in Amawalk, New York, and is buried at New York Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Br. Amatoris Joseph

Brother Amatoris Joseph (James Golden) was born in Kiliumai, Ireland, and in November of 1865 at the age of 30 entered the Novitiate at Second Street in New York City. He died at age 73 on January 31, 1912, in Chicago, Illinois, and is buried in Calvary Cemetery in Glencoe, Missouri.

Br. Teodoreto

Brother Teodoreto (Giovanni Garberoglio) was born in Italy. He died in 1954 in Turin at age 83. His cause for beatification was introduced in 1977.

Br. Exuperien

Brother Exuperien (Adrian Mas) was born in Poujol, France. He entered the Novitiate at Paris, France, and died in 1905 at age 76 in Paris and is buried there.

Br. Saint Mutien Marie

Brother Saint Mutien Marie (Louis Wiaux) was born in Mellet, Belgium, and entered the Novitiate at Namur, Belgium, on April 7 1856. He died at age 75 on January 30, 1917, in Malonne, Belgium, and buried in Malonne.

Brother Noah (Francis Curran) was born in Montreal, Canada, on March 8, 1845 and entered the Novitiate in Montreal in 1858. He died at age 52 on January 30, 1897, in New York City and was buried in Calvary Cemetery at Long Island City, New York.

Brother Leo Wilfrid (Joseph Francis Seiler) was born in Chicago, Illinois, and entered the Novitiate in 1939 in Glencoe, Missouri. He died on January 29, 2014, in Chicago, Illinois, at the age of 92 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery in Glencoe, Missouri.

Brother Lupinian David (Frederick Pieters) was born in Burlington, Wisconsin on December 4, 1920. He entered the Novitiate in 1946. He died at age 89 on January 29, 2009, at Lemont, Illinois, and was buried in Resurrection Cemetery at Romeoville, Illinois.

Brother Joseph Antoninus (Joseph Alden Windle) was born on May 1, 1896, in Duluth, Minnesota, and entered the Novitiate at Glencoe, Missouri, in February of 1913. He died at age 65 on January 29, 1961, in Evanston, Illinois, and is buried there in Calvary Cemetery.

Brother Damian (Patrick Murphy) was born in Permoy, Ireland, on September 1, 1847, and entered the Novitiate at Second Street, New York City, in 1865. He died at age 20 on January 29, 1867, in St. Louis, Missouri, and is buried in the Brothers' Cemetery at Glencoe, Missouri.

Brother Lucius James (Robert William Abell) was born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 25, 1924, and entered the Juniorate in Glencoe, Missouri, in 1939. He died at age 78 on January 28, 2002, in Jefferson City, Missouri, and is buried there in Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum.

Brother James Athanasius (Edward Vincent Toolis) was born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 4, 1922, and entered the Novitiate in Glencoe, Missouri, in 1940. He died at age 63 on January 28, 1985, in Joliet, Illinois, and is buried at Calvary Cemetery in Evanston, Illinois.

Brother Herbert Patrick (Patrick Mahoney) was born in Minard, Kerry County, Ireland, on March 16, 1846, and entered the Novitiate in Glencoe, Missouri, on April 1, 1887. He died at age 58 on January 28, 1904, in Glencoe and is buried there in the Brothers' Cemetery.

Brother Caesarius of Mary (Daniel Augustine O'Brien) was born on August 6, 1895, in Oquansboro, Galway, Ireland, and entered the Juniorate in Castletown, Ireland, in 1909. He died at age 86 on January 23, 1982, in Joliet, Illinois, and is buried at Calvary Cemetery in Evanston, Illinois.

Brother Josephus of Jesus (Bernard Smythe) was born in Dunsanney, County Meath, Ireland, on February 10, 1854. He entered the Novitiate at Carondelet, Missouri, on March 19, 1880. He died at age 69 on January 22, 1923 in Glencoe, Missouri, and is buried there in Calvary Cemetery

Brother Justin Ephrem (Bernard English) was born in Haggardstown, Ireland, on January 31, 1859, and entered the Novitiate in Corondelet, Missouri, in 1880. He died at age 23 on January 21, 1882, in Carondelet and is buried in Calvary Cemetery in Glencoe, Missouri.

Brother Potamian (Michael O'Reilly) was born on September 25, 1846, in Baileboro, County Cavan, Ireland, and entered the Novitiate in Montreal, Canada, receiving the habit on June 12, 1859. He died at age seventy on January 20, 1917, in New York City and is buried at New York Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Br. Ignatius Leo

Brother Ignatius Leo (James Murphy) was born on August 4, 1861 in Peoria, Illinois, and at age eighteen, in 1880 entered the Novitiate at Carondelet, Missouri. He died at age 27 in Peoria and is buried there at St. Mary Cemetery.

Brother Clement Peter (Peter Cahill) was born on September 25, 1835 at Meath in Lienster, Ireland, and entered the Novitiate in Carondelet, Missouri, on December 5, 1870. He died at age 38 at Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, on January 20, 1873, and is buried at Prairie du Chien St. Gabriel Cemetery.

Brother Michael (John Farmer) was born on August 5, 1847, in Baltimore, Maryland, and entered the Novitiate in Montreal in 1858. He died at age 21 on January 20, 1868, at Baltimore and is buried in the New Cathedral Cemetery in Baltimore

Br. Leonian George

Brother Leonian George (Francis Pahl) was born on March 3, 1915, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and entered the Juniorate in Glencoe, Missouri, in August of 1930, and the Novitiate there in 1932. He died at age 88 on January 19, 2003, in Winona, Minnesota, and is buried there in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Brother Thomas Eugene Clark was born on October 26, 1959 in Bay City, Michigan, and entered the Novitiate in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, in 1982. He died at age 36 on January 19, 1995, in Bay City and is buried at Floral Gardens, Bay City, Michigan

Brother Justinus Elzear (John Zankl) was born on September 14, 1885 in St. Paul, Minnesota, and entered the Juniorate in Glencoe, Missouri, in December of 1899, and the Novitiate there in 1901. He died at age 57 on January 19, 1942, in Winona, Minnesota, and is buried in Calvary Cemetery at Glencoe, Missouri.

Brother Owen (Henry Burgholz) was born in Westphalia, Germany on February 1, 1834, and entered the Novitiate in St. Louis in 1855. He died at age 25 on January 19, 1859 in New Orleans, Louisiana, and is buried at New Orleans St. Patrick Cemetery.

Br. Louis de La Salle

Brother Louis de La Salle (Ambrose Ignatius Seiler) was born on December 8, 1910, in Chicago, Illinois and entered the Juniorate at Glencoe, Missouri, in 1924 and made his Novitiate there in 1927. He died at age 62 on January 18, 1972, in Lockport, Illinois, and was buried at Calvary Cemetery in Glencoe, Missouri.

Blessed Br. Jaime Hilario

Blessed Brother Jaime Hilario (Manuel Barbal Cosan) was born on January 2, 1898, in Enviny, Spain. He entered the Novitiate at Irun, a border town between Spain and France, at age 19. He was martyred on January 18, 1937 at age 39 in Tarragona, Spain.

Brother Charles of Jesus (John Joseph Cullinane) was born on June 20, 1853, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and entered the Novitiate on February 10, 1866, at Pass Christian, Mississippi. He died at age 89 on January 11, 1942, in Glencoe, Missouri, and is buried there in the Brothers' Cemetery.

Brother Fidelian (James O'Connor) was born in Ireland and entered the Novitiate at Carondelet, Missouri, in 1870. He died in Chicago, Illinois, at age 65 on January 13, 1911, and is buried at the Brothers' cemetery at Glencoe, Missouri.

Br. Sylvan of Mary

Brother Sylvan of Mary (Stephen Cassian) was born in Ireland in 1823, and entered the Novitiate in 1850 in Montreal. He died in at the age of 30 on January 13, 1853, in Baltimore, Maryland, and was buried there in Baltimore New Cathedral Cemetery, having been a De La Salle Christian Brother for only two years.

Br. Cyril Columban

Brother Cyril Columban (Cyril Peters Conroy) was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on November 28, 1919, and entered the Novitiate in Glencoe, Missouri, in 1964. He died in Memphis, at age 71 on January 12, 1991, and is buried at Calvary Cemetery in Memphis.

Br. Jeremiah Arthur

Brother Jeremiah Arthur (John Joseph Higgins) was born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 12, 1906, and entered the Juniorate in 1920 in Glencoe, Missouri, and advanced to the Novitiate there in 1923. He died in Chicago, Illinois, at age 67 on January 12, 1973, and is buried at Calvary Cemetery in Evanston, Illinois.

Br. Ladislaus Cyril

Brother Ladislaus Cyril (Alexander Podlewski) was born on February 25, 1867, in Thomasville, Ontario, Canada, and entered the Novitiate in Glencoe, Missouri, in 1910. He died at age 73 on January 12, 1940, in Winona, Minnesota, and is buried at the Brothers' cemetery at Glencoe, Missouri.

Br. Euspicius Edward

Brother Euspicius Edward (Patrick Fanning) was born in Ireland and entered the Novitiate in New York in 1844. He died at age 33 on January 12, 1877, in Clason Point, New York, and is buried at New York Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Br. James Augustine (“Gus”)

Brother James Augustine “Gus” (George Alphonsus Kossuth) was born on June 23, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois, and entered the Novitiate in Glencoe, Missouri in 1955. He died in Hinsdale, Illinois at Monor Care Health Serivices at age 89. He is buried at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville, Illinois and had been a De La Salle Christine Brother for 59 years.

Br. Henry Stephen

Brother Henry Stephen (Joseph Glockle) was born on November 24, 1902 in Duluth, Minnesota, and entered the Novitiate in Glencoe, Missouri in 1919. He died in Minneapolis Minnesota, at age 66 on January 11, 1968 and is buried at St. Mary Cemetery in Winona, Minnesota.
