Br. Denis Murphy

Brother Denis Frank Murphy, 86, died December15, 2017 at Alexian Brothers Hospice Home in Elk Grove Village, IL. A De LaSalle Christian Brother for 66 years, he was born Frank J. Murphy in Chicago, son of Frank and Thelma (Lacourciere) Murphy. He graduated from St. George H.S.in Evanston, and earned a BA and a MA from Saint Mary’s College, Winona, MN. Entered the novitiate of the Christian Brothers in 1951 in Glencoe, MO, and professed his first vows in 1952
