Br. Thaddeus Luke

Roy Bohanon was born on July 15, 1944, in San Francisco, the eldest of four children. His family moved to St. Paul, Minnesota, where he attended grade school and Cretin High School. After graduation he entered the Novitiate in Winona on June 12, 1962, he received the habit and religious name of Brother Thaddeus Luke. His young life came to a tragic end when he was struck by an automobile on July 21, 1964, while he and another scholastic were riding their bicycles to a community picnic. He was twenty years old and had been a De La Salle Christian Brother for only two years.
