Br. Eucianian
We know little of William Doyle's early life. At the age of twenty-three he entered the Novitiate at Montreal, Canada, and at the end of his Novitiate year he was sent to New York where he taught successfully for five years before he showed any signs of tuberculosis. Even after this diagnosis he continued to teach for three years. He died on July 23, 1861, at the age of thirty-one, having been a De La Salle Christian Brother for eight years.
