Br. Lawrence E. Oelschlegel

We remember and pray for our Brother Lawrence E. Oelschlegel, FSC, age 77. Brother Lawrence (Larry) died on August 1, 2022 at Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights, Illinois of a heart attack.  A De La Salle Christian Brother for 58 years, he was born Lawrence Edward Oelschlegel on November 24, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

He entered the novitiate of the Christian Brothers in June 15, 1964 in Ammendale, MD.  He received the Religious Habit and Name Geffrey Benet on September 1, 1964 and pronounced his Perpetual Vows in Adamstown, MD on August 10, 1972.
