Anthony Mokrzycki was born on May 11, 1941, the son of Milton and Mary Rohal Mokrzycki. He attended Our Lady of Victory grade school in Sayerville, New Jersey, and St. Peter's High School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He also attended Rutgers University and entered the Order of St. Camillus in June of 1966. In 1969 he requested to transfer to the Christian Brothers. Brother Christopher was subject to Hodgkins disease for about eight years before his death. He was a live-in candidate at St. Mel's High School, Chicago, when he died ultimately of pneumonia and Hodgkins. He was twenty-nine years old at the time of his death.
