Br. Christopher Ford

‍Our Brother Christopher Ford made his 1991-92 Novitiate in Skaneateles, New York and his teaching career was spread over assignments to CBC in St. Louis, Roncalli High School in Manitowac, WI, and for the majority of his career serving in writing labs at St. Mary’s, Lewis, and New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM.  He had a quick eye for writing errors and he was helpful to students in editing their papers for their courses.  In communities at Westmont and at Lewis he was helpful with volunteering to cook and serving as guest master.  He was always appreciative of gifts of homemade baking goods delivered to his door.  He could spy a guest on the way and greet that guest at the front door.  His last years with us were marked by prolonged illness and he would give his visitors a detailed account of what he was experiencing.  He made a valiant effort near the end of his days on earth to contact Brothers and friends outside the community to say farewell and to ask for prayer.  That end of his earthly days came February 25, 2025.  May our Brother Christopher Ford rest in peace!
