80 Years of Dragon Brotherhood

Since the doors opened in Evanston in 1927, St. George High School shaped young men through Lasallian values, academic rigor, and a camaraderie that has endured long past the school's final class in 1969. This spring marks the 80th consecutive year that Dragons have gathered to celebrate that legacy — and we want you at the table.

Whether you walked the halls in the 1940s or closed them out in '69, this afternoon is yours — to reconnect with classmates, honor the Christian Brothers who shaped your path, and support the mission that carries forward what St. George began.

Schedule for the Day

11:00 AM — Check-In & Reconnect
Arrive at Chevy Chase Country Club, pick up your name badge, and find your classmates. Browse memorabilia, yearbook displays, and catch up with fellow Dragons you haven't seen since the halls of Evanston.

12:30 PM — The Luncheon
Sit down to a plated lunch featuring your choice of Flat Iron Steak or Atlantic Salmon (select when you register). The afternoon includes remarks, class recognitions, and the kind of Dragon spirit that only happens when this group gets together.

Have dietary restrictions? Let us know when you register and we'll make sure you're taken care of.

Support the St. George Legacy Fund

Beyond the luncheon, your generosity keeps the Lasallian mission alive. When you register, you can direct a contribution to any of the following:

Senior Brothers Retirement Fund

Support the Christian Brothers who dedicated their lives to educating generations of Dragons — ensuring their comfort and care in retirement.

Burnell Tuition Assistance Program

Named for legendary St. George football coach Max Burnell — whose 1943 team won the Catholic League, City of Chicago, and national championships — this fund helps students at Lasallian schools access the same caliber of education that shaped St. George men.

Lasallian Education

Invest in the broader Lasallian educational mission — the same tradition of faith-centered, rigorous learning that defined your years at St. George.

Vocation Ministry

Help inspire and support the next generation of Christian Brothers, ensuring the Lasallian charism continues to transform young lives.
