De La Salle Blackfeet School, rooted in the Lasallian tradition of faith, service, and community, seeks a compassionate, mission-driven professional to serve as Director of Student Success & Family Engagement. This role provides relationship-centered support to students from 4th through 8th grade, with transition support into 9th grade, ensuring continuity of care, advocacy, and guidance across key academic and developmental milestones.
Grounded in Lasallian values, the Director partners with families, teachers, and community resources to help students overcome academic, social, emotional, and structural barriers to success. This position is not a primary therapy role, but focuses on coordination, advocacy, and holistic student development.
Key Responsibilities
- Build long-term, trusting relationships with students and families
- Identify and address barriers to student success, including academic, social-emotional, and structural challenges
- Develop individualized support plans in collaboration with teachers and families
- Connect families with school and community resources
- Support executive functioning, goal-setting, and transitions into middle and high school
- Partner with Graduate Support Coordinator for high school persistence support
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred (Social Work, Education, Counseling, Psychology, or related field)
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in school or community-based settings
- Strong relational, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to student advocacy, cultural humility, and Lasallian mission values
