Br. James Ryan

James Ryan was born in Limerick, Ulster, Ireland, in 1862. He entered the Novitiate at Carondelet, Missouri, on September 8, 1884, at age twenty-two. After five weeks, postulant James Ryan contracted malaria and died in the infirmary of the novitiate. He was buried in the Brothers' plot in Mount Olivet Cemetery and in 1934 his remains were reinterred in the crypt of Calvary Cemetery at La Salle Institute
