Br. Eusebius Patrick

Thomas O'Keefe was born the son of Owen and Mary O'Brien O'Keefe in Ireland and entered the Novitiate at New Orleans on March 10, 1865, where he received the habit of the Brothers and the religious name of Brother Eusebius Patrick. He was assigned to St. Vincent's Academy in Jefferson Parish (New Orleans) but when it was soon discovered that he was suffering from tuberculosis he was sent to Christian Brothers College Community in Pass Christian. He died there at age twenty-four, having been a De La Salle Christian Brother for a year and a half.
