Br. Romuald Hosea
Brother Romuald Hosea emigrated with his mother and father, Xavier and Pelagiae Frantz Meyer, in 1880 and he entered the Brothers' Novitiate in Montreal in 1889. He studied and taught in Canada. He was named Director of St. Charles in Montreal, served at La Salle in Ottawa, the Academy of Quebec and Mont Saint Louis at Montreal. In 1930 he was appointed Visitor General of the Houses of formation of North America. He was appointed Assistant for the Far East and served from 1936 to 1946 when he returned to Canada. He died there at age eighty-three in his sixty-sixth year as a De La Salle Christian Brother.
