Milton was introduced to the Christian Brothers while attending Benilde High School.  He entered the Novitiate at St Mary’s in Winona following his graduation from Benilde and served as a Christian Brother for 54 years.  Though out these years, he mentored and touched the lives of countless individuals.

He earned a BA in Communications Arts/Education from St Mary’s and began his teaching career at Totino Grace High School (formerly Archbishop Grace High School).  After receiving a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision he moved from the classroom into Administrative roles.  He served as Principal at Roncalli High School in Manitowoc, Wi from 1979-1985 before returning to Totino Grace as Director of Development from 1985-1987. He spent the next 24 years as President of Totino Grace from 1987-2011and then Assistant to the President from 2011-2015.  

Milton served on many local and national committees over the years, including the National Catholic Education Association Secondary Schools Committee, the District Council of the Christian Brothers of the Midwest, the Director of Initial Formation, the Archdiocesan Strategic Planning Task Force, and the Lewis University Board of Trustees.

In 2010, Milton received the Monsignor John F. Meyers Award given by the National Catholic Education Association for his substantial support for Catholic education on the national level.

He embraced his Polish heritage, and shared that heritage with many, making and hosting many trips to Poland.
