The Lasallian East Asia District (LEAD) solemnly announce the passing of Br. Martin Sellner FSC, a cherished member of the Lasallian Family and esteemed Chemistry teacher from the Christian Brothers of the Midwest in the United States, who accepted an invitation to serve the Lasallian Mission in the Philippines by joining the 1911 Brothers’ Community from1985-2000 and returning to retire in 2013.

His unwavering faith, dedication to service, and commitment to education have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of crossing paths with him in both the United States and the Philippines.

Renowned for his diverse interests, Br. Martin’s fondness for cross-stitching, creating dance videos, and his love for vanilla ice cream and chicharon were as memorable as his selfless devotion through his years as a De La Salle Brother, including 26 years with the Brothers at the 1911 Brothers’ Community at De La Salle University, Manila.

As we remember Br. Martin Seller FSC, we honor a life defined by faith, friendship, and service. His enduring legacy will continue to inspire us all.
