His last assignment in the United States was teaching in the Juniorate at Glencoe in 1957. A year later he was assigned to De La Salle University in Manila, Philippines. He spent the remainder of his life, forty-seven years, in the Philippines, as a principal, dean, vice-president, and special advisor to Provincials and presidents. He died at age seventy-six, having been a De La Salle Christian Brother for sixty-three years.
