Br. Emilian of Jesus

Patrick Foley was born in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, in 1835, and made his Novitiate in Montreal, in 1854. There he received the habit and religious name of Brother Emilian of Jesus. His tour of duty took him to Troy, New York City, St. Louis, Detroit, and Albany, where he died at age thirty-four. Brother Emilian had been a De La Salle Christian Brother for fifteen years.
