Br. Delphinus Peter

Brother Peter spent thirty-three years in educational institutions in the mid-west including St. Vincent's School and Christian Brothers College High School in St. Louis, Missouri, where he was head of the Commercial Department for over twenty-five years, as well as St. Patrick's High School and De La Salle Institute in Chicago, Illinois, as well as Cotter High School in Winona, Minnesota. For some years he filled the office of inspector of schools in the St. Louis District and was author of a textbook on bookkeeping. The last three years of his life and, at the time of his death, he was teaching Catechism in the Novitiate and Scholasticate located at Glencoe, Missouri. He died in his seventy-sixth year and in the fiftieth year as a De La Salle Christian Brother.
