Br. Randal Frank
Francois Jacques Boilet (Americanized to James Baily) was born in Saint Etienne, Canada, on September 27, 1827. He entered the Novitiate of the Brothers in Montreal and there received the habit and religious name of Brother Randal Frank on February 2, 1851, at age twenty-four. His necrological notice says that he "was employed in temporal work in many communities in North America". He was stationed at Rochester in 1858; at St. Michael's Community in Philadelphia in 1859; and then for some years in Baltimore. He was assigned to the Brothers' Community at Christian Brothers College in St. Joseph, Missouri, where he died at age seventy-one years of age, having been a De La Salle Christian Brother for forty-six years.
