Br. Filberto
Francisco Rosano was born in 1830 in Villanova, Italy. He emigrated to the United States and at age thirty-four entered the Novitiate at New York in 1864. There he received the habit and the religious name of Brother Filberto. He was assigned to St. Mary's School in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and became the Director the school at Mora, New Mexico, where he served from 1872 to 1878. Later he taught in England and Spain, where he died at the age of seventy-two, having been a De La Salle Christian Brother for forty years.
