CHANGES TO SUMMER 2021 FORMATION PROGRAMS

The Office for Lasallian Education at Christian Brothers Conference has been closely monitoring guidance and advisories from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local health authorities while in ongoing communication and reflection with our partners and stakeholders regarding the feasibility of hosting in-person gatherings for the 2021 summer formation programs.

In consultation with the Districts and the Lasallian Education Council, and out of an abundance of care and caution, the Office for Lasallian Education has decided that the 2021 summer formation programs will be postponed or held virtually due to COVID-19 pandemic.

While the Buttimer Institute of Lasallian Studies will now take place the summer of 2022, current participants will have opportunities to come together this summer for speakers, prayer and community building. The Brother John Johnston Institute of Contemporary Practice will take place virtually July 12-16, 2021. The Lasallian Social Justice Institute (LSJI) will be held virtually July 18-23, 2021.
