On Wednesday, January 23, CBC President Michael Jordan was officially recognized as an affiliated member of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. The CBC faculty and student body were in attendance at a Mass held in Mr. Jordan’s honor. Several Christian Brothers traveled to be in attendance including Brother Larry Schatz, FSC, who serves as the Brother Visitor for the Midwest District, and former CBC principal Brother David Poos, FSC.

Affiliation honors an individual as a spiritual son of De La Salle, and recognizes that he or she has been doing the work of the Institute alongside the Brothers. This is the highest honor bestowed by the Christian Brothers upon their lay associates. A member of the CBC community for more than 40 years, Michael’s commitment to Lasallian education has supported the development of generations of Christian Brothers College High School students.
