The Midwest District Brother Jubilarians were honored at a special liturgy on Saturday, July 20 at St. Charles Borromeo Chapel on the Lewis University campus.
Brother Larry Schatz, Visitor, introduced each of the Jubilarians and shared some information about each one as they processed in.
During the mass two significant rites took place: Brother Anthony (Tony) Elfering received the habit as he prepares to enter our Regional Novitiate in August.
Also two postulants, Brothers Jonathon Emmanuelson and Mark Engelmeyer renewed their promises, and three young men, Ryan Anderson, Jerry Brocky and Michael Phipps made their first promises as they prepare to enter the Jeremy House next month.
The mass was followed by a reception in the Lewis University Field House.
Congratulations to our novice, postulants and all the jubilarians.
