Under Brother Michael’s guidance, John XXIII Educational Center has become a beacon of hope for Racine area young people, and during his remarks upon receiving the award, he shared this: “Thanks be to God for my vocation and for all of the great gifts which God has made manifest in my life…in our life. The founder of my religious community, St. John Baptist de La Salle, said over three hundred years ago: ‘The greatest miracle that an educator can perform is to touch the hearts of the students entrusted to his/her care’ Touching hearts…forming a relationship of the heart…is what my own work and, I believe, any effective educational work is all about!”
CONGRATULATIONS to Brother Michael and the entire staff of John XXIII for their inspiring and life-changing work in Racine!
