Dear Reader,

Believe it or not, the hardest part of creating each issue of Faith & Zeal is not the hours spent designing or cultivating photos and stories. The hardest part is deciding how we are going to fit everything we want to share with you into only 24 pages. So much has happened over the last six months that we probably could have filled an entire book.

You’ll notice from the teaser on the front of this fall’s Faith & Zeal, the theme of this issue is “O Brother, Where Art Thou” (George Clooney not included). In the feature story, you’ll get a chance to meet and learn about four Brothers who are not only from different ministries around the District but are also in very different stages of their lives and vocation.

You’ll also read about our Jubilee celebrations of 11 Brothers, and the First Vows professed by our Brothers Ryan Anderson and Johnathon Emanuelson.

And, the celebrations don’t end there—

On October 16th, Brother Solomon Le Clercq, a martyr of the French Revolution, will be canonized by Pope Francis at the Vatican in Rome. This is certainly a most exciting time for Brothers and Lasallians alike. The magazine includes a brief history of his life and how his canonization transpired.

You’ll enjoy reading this issue. There’s a lot to see.

Printed copies are in the mail, but we invite you to enjoy the digital version now. You can download a PDF version or read it here.

Live Jesus in our Hearts – Forever!
